Wellness Policy

The Torrance Unified School District adopted a Wellness Policy in accordance with the requirements of the California Department of Education.  The District is committed to providing school environments that promote and protect children's health, well-being, and ability to learn by supporting healthy eating and physical activity under a Coordinated School Health Program.  

 

If families wish to bring treats in for birthdays they must make arrangements with the teachers and the treats must comply with the healthy food standards.  Treats will be served after lunchtime.
